Madhavan to host Sony’s KBC

Posted by Administrator on September 16, 2005 - (0)

According to rumors, Madhavan is going to host a different type of Game Show on Sony tv which is going to be entirely different then the Big B’s game. Well, it got to be or else it will meet the same fate as the game shows hosted by Anupam Kher, Manisha Koirala, Govinda and Ashutosh Rana did in the past.

Madhavan association with television is not new. In fact he started his acting career with Ananth Mahadevan’s Ghar Jamai which was one of the popular serials of its time. Due to this new assignment, Madhavan might have to give up his plans of going for acting course at New York. I am sure the money offered for the show must have helped him to change his mind.

There is no official announcement in this regard but lets wait and watch and everything will be clear.

Amitabh Bachchan at KBC2

Posted by Administrator on September 15, 2005 - (4)

Amitabh Bachchan at KBC2

According to Siddharth Basu KBC2 producer, “Amitabh Bachchan is far more versatile at KBC2 than the last time around”. Well we also think so. He was more of formal last time around but in KBC2 he is more versatile and informal. The wardrobe is also little more casual this time.

Could we imagine KBC2 without him. I am not sure if he would not have been on the show, the show has been so successful. See the other game show that came with KBC and their fate is not a secret to anyone. KBC2 has come with additional prize money and lifeline. The chances of winning are greater this time. KBC2 is more of participative this time as the entire 10 contestants are involved all the time with every question.

The show has slowly and gradually stabilized and has reached a point, which is beyond the reach of many popular shows on other general entertainment channels. It is just matter of time and once participants starts winning big money, it will grow in popularity tremendously. Well, magic of Amitabh is certainly going to make it this time too.
