This is the major reason for great success of these types of programs. People do talk about these shows even after the show is over.

The perfect word for this type of behavior of getting high with the problems and failings of others is a German word Schadenfreude. However, are we Indians like that? With new reality show based on Fear factor with prize money of 10 lakh as episode winner and 1 Crore as the prize money for the final winner, Indians are surely going to get the real action soon.

Slowly reality shows are getting under the skin of Indian audience as it already has done in western counterparts. The major question is do we Indians have the nerve to live it out.
